Heeeeeyo! How goes yo!

Last weekend I went up to Denton with some friends to return to the dention mini mall/antique store. After that last VCR I bought from there turned out to be a bust since I was too dumb to make sure that there was a coax port in the back I sought to get another one!

Except there was only one VCR there available and it was the exact same model as mine. It was slightly better as the DVD player worked on it unlike mine, but I got enough devices that plays DVDs so I wasn’t gonna drop $43 for a dvd/vcr combo that I can’t connect to my CRT.

The trip wasn’t entirely a bust as I went to the used book store and bought the first volume of the Rune Soldier manga for like $5. There was a bunch of other really cool stuff there, like a figure of Benten from Urusei Yatsura for $30 that I wouldn’t mind owning, but my figure buying days are pretty much over so it I didn’t see a absolute need for it. I like Benten but not that much. Another cool thing I saw was a copy of Record of Lodoss for the Super Nintendo with the box! Of course it being Japanese only with a $75 price tag I held off.

After that I went back to my friends’ place, got food, and we watched the entirety of The Amazing Digital Circus. It was a lot of fun! My friend wound up buying some merch after we finished watching it.

Oh yeah, also went to a ramen place with another friend on Friday. It made the perfect opportunity to get resource materials for the next chapter of Bodysuit 23! Also the food was good! Only issue was parking was a bitch, so I wound up driving down the street some and parked at a Whole Foods and walked over. I also got to show my friend the printed Kat label and gave them a test print.
