I had fun drawing this episode. Been a while since I got to have the characters talk about their “real life” so I jumped at the chance when this question came in. The path to get to this scenario took some back and forth with Cooper as my main idea was “Maria’s actress dressed in cosplay in her day to day and also messes with Kat’s actress again,” and then trying to figure out the humor of it. Also it was fun being able to draw Maria’s actress cosplay as Mei Mer’s mom from KO Beast, plus Wan and Bud.

Another thing I like about doing these question episodes is portraying “kat” and “maria”‘s characterization different. While Kat is a energetic goofball and Maria is this calm older sister/motherly type, Kat’s actress is more of a normie whereas Maria’s actress is a huge nerd who likes fucking with her coworker. I get to draw the characters act uncharacteristically more or less and do fun stuff with ’em.

Anyway, next week will just be a pinup that acts as a follow up to this question episode.

As for this past memorial day weekend I did mostly nothing. I napped, laid about, browsed reddit, watched a bit of anime, and a bunch of nothing. I even skipped club this past monday because I couldn’t be bothered to shower and shave until late at night for work the next day. There was originally plans for friends to come over to swim, after which we would’ve gone back to their place to marathon Endless 8 for shiggles, but there were storms that day so we decided to punt it to another weekend in the future.
