Hey-o!

This past Sunday I went to MicroCenter and bought a little wireless keyboard with built in touch pad for $15 to use on my PC while I’m in bed. The whole thing is about as large as my hand, which makes it perfect so as not to get in the way when I put it with my TV/PS5 remotes. Gotta say I’m really liking it. Before I’d use plex to stream stuff from my PC to my TV but then when I went to bed I’d have to get up and turn the computer off or let it sit there running and waste electricity, which I don’t like to do. Mostly because of those god forsaken RGB lighting they shove into computer cases these days. Even if I manually turn it off it just turns back on after my computer goes to sleep and for whatever reason immediately wake up. Now when I’m done for the night I can just shut it down from the comfort of my bed!

The other thing is now it’ll make reading some visual novels way easier. Sometimes trying to play something through steam big picture mode and using a control I’ll get some pop up message that I have to walk over to my PC to get rid of or the visual novel has no real support for a gamepad, making it annoying to play. With the wireless keyboard it’s easy peasy to deal with! Honestly it’s something I’ve been wanting for a while but then go “eh, I can do without” whenever the chance arose. Man, why did I wait so long to get it? Bunch of annoyances could’ve been avoided!

The weather is starting to cool down here in Texas finally. I’ve been real sick of the 100+/upper 90s heat. As of this moment it’s 80 degrees with tomorrow’s high being only 76! That and rain! RAIN!!! Except now’s not a good time because these cheap shoes I bought from Walmart earlier this year is already falling apart so I got a hole in the back heel. I should really get to buying a new pair…

Aaaaaand that’s all for this week! The call for questions for next week’s Question episode is still open if you have anything you want to ask! You can do so right here!
