Comic work’s been taking a lot of my time recently as I’ve been having to play catch up on top of some commission work, so I haven’t been doing much gaming or watching anything as of late. Left off at the shadow temple in Ocarina of Time though I aim to finish it and then head over to Ganondorf’s castle this Friday night.
I picked up the Lunar remaster games but only put in like 3 hours into it so far. I bought the playstation version back in 2006 when Gamestop was getting rid of all their PS1 games for cheap and it’s amazing how little I remember of it. I almost reached where I left off all those years ago, which with how slow combat at 1x speed can be I’m not entirely surprised. Also not surprised why I went “I’ll come back to this later” and never did. Having it 3x speed has helped it a lot. What I wound up doing was just grind by auto-battling at fast speed and level up quickly then progress through the game and kill the boss without my having to do anything. Sure, I’m not REALLY playing the game at that point, am I? But I mostly just want to check out the story. And if a game is gonna give me autobattle AND fast forward then I sure as hell am gonna abuse it to overlevel my characters for the next boss fight.
Won’t be touching it again until after Zelda is done, though. I want to finish that before going any farther.

Oh yeah by the way there’s gonna be a question episode the update after memorial day. I plan on taking it easy that weekend and relax as I’ve been ragging myself down with comic/art stuff the past few weeks. I haven’t had a day where I got to chill and relax without at some point switching gears to work the past few weeks.
