Storm’s a’brewin’, as they say. Is there a deeper meaning to it or did I just feel like having this chunk of the story be set during a storm? You decide!
This past Saturday I visited my brother and sister-in-law for a fun few hours where we went bowling at this place called Cowtown Bowling in Fort Worth! And it was surprisingly cheap! $11 for two hours with shoe rental per person on a Saturday afternoon. Looking at their website during the week it’s $9. Last time I went bowling it was at a RoundOne and I paid something like $20-30 for one game of it. We managed to play three games and left before our two hours were up as my brother and sister-in-law had to pick up their kid from my sister-in-law’s family as he slept over with them for a night. I made sure to take some photos on the off chance I do a chapter on bowling. One thing I noticed was the AMF branding despite the location not being AMF. I guess it was bought out at some point? Anyway if you’re in Fort Worth and want to bowl for real cheap for a few hours than I highly recommend it!
In other news I finally got season 3 of Bluey and have been watching it. It is swell! Been waiting for a good while for that season 1-3 bluray set to go on sale. After which I donated my season 1-2 dvd set to my brother. Great show to just chill to.
Other than that I haven’t done too much. I’ve been wanting to play a game but cannot figure out what exactly I’m in the mood for whenever I sit down. I got a bunch of games that I own that I’ve still yet to play, on switch specifically as that’s my gaming platform of choice, but I look at those games and go “eh, not now.” Then I spend time scrolling through the sales to find anything that catches my eyes and nothing. It’s a really stupid problem to have. Ultimately I just wind up watching youtube or browse reddit and bluesky after I give up and then go to bed, wasting a good couple hours of my night.
And that’s all I got to talk about this week! Next week I’ll have the first proper page up! See ya then!

Indeed. Having that “I’ve got nothing to play” when you literally have a couple dozen games in a backlog is really annoying… I’m pretty sure there’s some sort of explanation for that somewhere.
Huh. In my search, I came across the term “decision fatigue”. That seems to be the problem. The brain get tired from trying to figure out what’d be the best way to destress. Ironic…
Have you seen a coconut creme Dr. Pepper flavor recently?
I have, but I don’t like coconut so I never had it.
I’d be chilling with a coffee because 7 am is early as heck. Especially when it still looks like night out from a brewing thunderstorm.
The incongruity of her being a waitress with a tail that can literally godzilla everything. And fur that gets in food. Uhhhh this is not a job she should be able to do, even in she is fast and light on her feet.
Huh… I failed to consider that point. Her and food related businesses is not a good combo.
