As you can see once again I am late in getting the comic finished on time! I apologize for that. I was hoping to get things done quicker but it was not meant to be. Missing doodle club again this week cost me about an extra two hours of work I would’ve gotten done otherwise. On top of that I was dealing with some minor burnout with this weeks episode, mostly due to drawing the drones a whole bunch. They’re not fun to draw! And being multiples of them means multiples of not fun things to draw!
The art club at my apartment started up again so I decided to swing by tonight. This time around it seems to be structured more like a class which honestly isn’t what I really wanted out of it. In the grand scheme of things that’s probably better in the long run since it’ll help those who don’t draw all that well get practice. But as a means of me getting an extra hour of work done on my comics? Nah. Not sure if I’ll go again but I guess I’ll see how I feel next go around.
This Saturday I plan to visit my brother to let him try out my steam deck as he’s been interested in getting a used one. I meant to have it be sent with my parents when they stopped by to check in on Gene and Aisha but I forgot to mention it. At least I’ve got an excuse to go and visit now at least and see my nephew! So I might be better off in the end having forgot!
Also went and did early voting for the midterms. I was pleasantly surprised by how many people were there on a Wednesday evening. There wasn’t a line but there was quite a number of booths filled up with a constant stream of people coming and going. Last midterms I went to the polls and the place was basically deserted. As much as I’d like for democrats to take control of the Texas government after 30 years of republican rule I am preparing myself for disappointment.
