I really like how the zoomed in shot of Kat’s eye turned out!
Recently I’ve taken it upon myself to start making gifs of anime and uploading them to tenor. More specifically: anime almost nobody else cares about that I do that has or had absolutely no gifs available and upload them! If you go onto tenor and search for NG Knight or Ryu Knight you can see some of my handy work! All but one of the NG Knight gifs are mine, with the exception being a boring shot of the spaceship creating a cloud of smoke. Look up Ryu Knight and ALL of those gifs were made by me. Half of em were emojis created for discord but I figured I’d chuck them up there anyway. Plus there’s some other stuff up there too like Maze Megaburst Space and this bit from Mood House of the guy’s hat flying off his head.
There’s been a bunch of times I’d want a gif of something and either can’t post gifs but only tenor gifs, or I’m too lazy at the time to go onto google and find specifically what I want, so I’d go onto Tenor. But then I’d look something up only to find zero gifs of the show I needed!
As they say: be the change that you want!
In other news: I’m working on a new cover for Kat! I figured that I’d draw a new one that better fit the current events in the comic. Last one I did was right before the feral hog invasion so it still has that slice of life look to it. The comic has evolved since then, both in terms of content and my art!
My goal going forward is to come up with a new cover page for each chapter, similar to Bodysuit 23. Chapter 2 is in the last third of its story, so honestly it’s kiiiiinda late to be doing it, but I don’t care! In fact, my waiting until now has gifted me the ability to do a really cool looking cover as it’ll have ideas incorporated into it that I literally did not have a week ago! The beauty of drawing and storyboarding a comic as you go, babyyyy! But that leaves the question if going forward if I do the cover at the start of the chapter or wait till I’m partway through the chapter before drawing it? If I do it before I might wind up drawing something that winds up not happening in the chapter itself, like in Bodysuit 23! On the other hand, having chapter specific covers and doing them late means the cover will be featuring events from the previous chapter months after the new one has started! What do I do? What do I do?!
Meh, I’ll just do em later. Procrastination is how you reach your destination!
