Hello! How are you? Fine, thank you!
Took both Aisha and Gene to the vet on Saturday. I was told both were slightly overweight, so I’m having to cut back on their food a bit. Usually I put down a plate of dry food for them to graze on during the night and put it up when I go to work, and even then there’d be left over food. I guess even that was too much. Probably doesn’t help my apartment is tiny so there isn’t much room for them to get exercise.
Biggest problem is Aisha’s two canines. One of them is loose and probably on its way of falling out, but her other one is cracked with the inside of the tooth poking out which will lead to complications in the future. Because of that she’s going to have both of them removed in the middle of August.
Aaaaaand it’ll cost about $800-1000 based off the estimate.
So I’m having a “PAY WHAT YA WANT!” stream in the end of August or early September to get some funds to help some of the pain of the costs! Thankfully I have the funds to pay it (along with generous help already via a commission that I need to start working on), so even if everyone pays $0 I won’t be going into crippling debt over it. However, if y’all wanna kick $10 or so for a sketch when the time comes it’ll mean a lot!
I think this go around I’m gonna do sketch only and not ink the drawings, and instead have like a separate fee to ink the drawing on a later date. The last few times I’ve done these streams I’ve been way too slow with them. I averaged like a drawing an hour, meaning only like 8 or so people get drawings. My thinking is if I do just a rough I’ll be able to get more drawings done, then those who do want it inked can get the chance for an additional fee, or take it to someone else and have them ink it instead if they so desire.
Time frame is still floating in the air, and I’m debating whether to do a split stream where half of it is on twitch and then a nsfw stream on picarto, or alternatively do it all on picarto and not worry about restricting myself in regards to nudes/adult content. Once I settle on the details I’ll make an announcement.
