Spent the day at work finishing inking and then switched to coloring. Then I came home from work and put on an episode of Columbo and colored some more. After almost 3 hours I decided to call it quits and will finish the rest of it tomorrow. I mentioned it on discord but I honestly wasn’t sure if I was gonna even have a complete episode this week. I let everyone know ahead of time to not expect anything this week, or at least just a few panels, but looks like I’m gonna make it! Helped that this one job with 200+ labels that need to be set up (two a sheet) has still yet to come back to my desk. I had proofed them last week and thought that I’d get to work on them early this week.
Being behind these past few weeks has been a real pain in the ass because it eats up my Fridays where I spend time working on storyboards or get some stuff done for Galactic Dragoon Reina, of which I rarely get time to work on. But since I’ve been going over time on Friday for comic work every week these past few weeks I’ve straight up ran out of storyboards for Kat. There’s literally nothing after this episode as of right now outside of the original writing. My hope is that I can get done with this week’s episode in a few hours and manage at least two weeks worth of storyboards. Then hopefully next week I’ll manage to get shit done on time and do more Kat storyboards, and then the NEXT week finally get more boards done for Reina and get to editing the writing I did for the prologue and chapter 2 years ago, program the writing, and then do boards for them. After which I can FINALLY start writing new stuff!
I wish I had more energy so as to get stuff done during the weekend and not getting major burnout on Monday when I start the whole process again. Maybe when the time comes I can trick myself into thinking writing is an entirely different energy reserve and get stuff done over at the bodega with the laptop.
Anyway finished page tomorrow see ya!

Okie doke! Here’s the finished episode!
Also I finished it with only 45 minutes left before I clocked out of work, which meant I had basically no time to even think about starting any storyboards. Because of that and my hesitance on getting work done during the weekend lest I bring about a bad case of burn out on Monday I’m going to push next week’s update back a week. What I’ll do instead is work on storyboards for most of the week and get a good amount of them done so as not to run into this problem again. Sorry about that! I’ve been severely underestimating how much work its been taking to get these past few weeks episodes done. Compare what I uploaded last night to what I have here and the changes do not look like they’re an entire work day’s worth of work. I didn’t think it would take an entire work day’s worth of work when I got started!
I’ll try to whip up something real small so there’s something next week.
