I was not expecting a bleeding thesis. This is a lot of reading compared to usual. Sometimes words are just an easier way to get the gist out at first. Just look at Star Wars A New Hope. It opened up with a good few paragraphs. Hopefully next week’s page isn’t words but I understand if it is.
It’s the first chapter of this book I’ve been working on for a really long time, so yeah, it’s gonna be all words besides the few drawings I do for it.
Nice start! It’s fun to get some back story on Reina and Bo, just like Taru and Dallas
Is it tough trusting the readers to imagine the details that you don’t draw? I bet it’s like going from making screenplays to writing radio spots. You had a really cinematic feel to your Kat vs Taru panels; that inspired the speculation. I thought the fight scene flowed well, BTW. Best—
I think it’s less about trusting and more of worry on my part if I’m doing a good enough job writing it without overwriting and explaining it. With novels there’s no point in having to describe each and every action as it becomes a chore to read and takes way long than showing a single action in a panel. Some of my older writings were guilty of doing that.

*isn’t just words.
Can’t believe I’d noticed that after I hit post.
