I saw Marty Supreme last Friday. Mo’ like Marty’s A Supreme Ass, amirite?!
Honestly a fun movie of about watching a dickass whose greed always bites him in the ass. I went into it not seeing the trailer or anything, and honestly the trailer made it seem more dramatic than it really is. I don’t think I would’ve seen it if I had, honestly. Though the reason I went and saw it was due to timing: I prefer to see movies that I can go to right after work at 4:30 on Friday so that by the time I get to the theater the trailers are mostly done or partway done. This way I can get home relatively early in the night.
What was neat about my showing was that I was asked to fill out a questionnaire about the movie and they gave me an Amazon $5 gift card! Woo!
Kat has resumed regular episode production this week. And just like last week I’m slightly ahead of schedule, giving me time to focus on storyboards Thursday and Friday for both B23 and Kat! Not only that but more time for Cooper to check things for me to correct without feeling incredibly rushed! Going to doodle club on Mondays sure does help a lot with getting work done. I might chat and junk while there but it beats having to deal with Gene constantly getting in my way while I work. As much as I love him he makes working at home such a huge pain in the ass. I hate having to put him in the bathroom to get him to stop because he’ll start crying, rightfully so, but with studio apartment living there’s nowhere else for me to put him. I could try setting up this table and buy a baby gate to try and keep him in the hallway to the closet and bathroom, but that isn’t adding much room for him.
Anyway, I feel like I’ve hit a good rhythm with my workflow at the moment where even if I run into a hiccup I still have like a day in the week to catch up without it bleeding into my weekend. And with my weekends freed up I’m resting like a mofo and turning my attention to some other stuff I want to work on. Namely the Galactic Dragoon Reina visual novel. Script’s all programmed. Now I need to start making the assets.
