A Kat’s (GOD AWFUL!!!) Blessing – 168

March 4th, 2026

Hello! Hope you’re all doing well! It’s the start of March! The beginning of spring! Honestly it’s felt like spring for most of February out here in Dallas. This week we’re getting hit with the first onslaught of spring storms as the warm weather starts pushing northward. Something I didn’t realize was that my apartment’s free parking garage for the common areas has a second basement level, which has me debating whether to go drive over and park my car there over night whenever there’s a chance of a hail storm. Walking over in the morning to go to work will be a pain, but beats having hail beat the shit out of my car!

Last Friday I went out on a second date at the country club at my apartment for dinner and drinks. Afterward we walked around the pond and then went back to my apartment, where we watched Golden Boy before I decided to give making out a try.

Truth be told, kissing/making out isn’t for me! Don’t see the hype. Afterward I thought about whether making out with a girl would be different than with a guy, but as I pondered it I wound up deciding that maybe it just isn’t for me. So this leaves me with the question of is it due to the fact I’d never went out on a date, let alone kiss someone, until I was 36 and therefore inexperienced as all fuck? Or is it that I just don’t like it at all. It lines up with the fact that I’m not much of a hugger. Like, if someone approaches me for a hug I’ll hug them, but I would never be the one to initiate.

The guy I dated is cool as all fuck, and we’re going to see Kiki’s in theaters next week, but I talked with him saying that I don’t think I want to be in such an intimate relationship. So right now I’m unsure if we’re just going to stay in the friend zone or whatever. Time will tell I guess.

If anything it was a great learning experience! Very educational!

So that’s it for the adventures of my love life for the future I guess! Sorry to disappoint with the rather fart of an ending.

This weekend I’m planning to go to Denton with a friend of mine, but what with the bad weather and all I’m still unsure if we’re still doing it or not. We’re gonna be inside the entire time going thrift shopping so I wanna say it won’t be an issue.

That’s all for this week! I’ll catch y’all later!

Ready to work on anything. As long as there’s no strays to interrogate. XD

Good for you, getting out there and giving new things a try! And if it turns out that it’s not for you, that’s perfectly fine.

There is sooo much space on the board, but you just had to overlap TWO other posters? Bad cat!

The shade under the parasol really helped Maria’s popping eyes to, well, POP.

I personally have difficulty finding ANY balance between “Dying of Lonesome” and “Dying of Exposure,” so heartfelt best wishes with the relationship spectrum.

Kat, chasing cats ain’t working, girl.
