Took Gene and Aisha to the vet today for their annual checkup. I’m doing something right as they were both healthy and have lost weight compared to last year when they were inching towards being obese! Only issue was evidence of a tapeworm or something on Aisha’s butt, so I got her a shot for that. Not sure where it came from since she hasn’t had fleas in about two years now. But it should be taken care of now!
Man oh man did they NOT like going to the vet. Aisha was mostly quiet outside of a few meows of sadness on the walk towards the car. Gene whined some too. But when we were in the car and I was starting to go Gene was squeaking so loudly! I felt bad for the little guy. But it had to be done! And now we don’t have to worry about the vet for another (knock on wood).
Anyway it’s Friday evening and I’m tired so I’m gonna go ahead and cut this short. See y’all next week!
